Prepayment Management

  

Shanergy¡¯s single phase and three phase prepayment meter provides a solution for energy 

measurement and prepayment. Credit and management data is transferred from a point of 

sales (POS) to the meter via a 20 numeric digits token that is generated using the Standard Transfer Specification (STS£©encryption protocol and entered into meter via a keypad. The 

compact meter has the keypad in the meter cover, and the split meter has the keypad in the 

accessories-user interface unit (UIU). 

The split meter comprises two elements, a measurement control unit (MCU), more commonly 

known as the meter and a user interface unit (UIU) which is the consumer¡¯s keypad interface. 

The communication between MCU and UIU can be PLC (Power Line Communication) or Mbus. 

This system can integrate with existing AMI system, perform data analysis, failures, events, 

even exporting and importing data, setup a schedule reporting, readout data by creating a 

schedule or on demand reading, load profile, configuration for meters, and controlling those 

meters.
